About me

I was born in 1973 at Budapest.

I attended primary and secondary school at Piliscsaba. The potter's wheel and glazing technique were teached me by Bíró Sándor folk potter artist. After I graduated at secondary school I studied the basics of the potter profession at Újpest in the Ady Cultural Centre and I also got my skilled worker diploma there. My professional teacher was Tünde Pallagi and my folk art teacher was Erzsébet István. Between 1995 and 1999 I run a country house at Martonvásár on our own backyard. I worked on to present to the people different landscapes. Here my professional help was Kovács Erika potter artistess and Béla Papp wood-carver. Béla Papp helped me to construe the decorations of the folk art. I have been living at Pilisjászfalu since 2004. In 2015 I recieved the folk potter artistess title. When I am working I try to show our past in my products in the present. It is important to me to preserve the old potter materials and glazings instead of the new ones which ones are used in the quantity production. Because in my poinion these materials have special glosses what is inimitable.
